Hunter Treacy Tailors will take you on a journey to create your very own luxurious and custom tailor-made suit. No detail will be missed! Our made to measure expert team will go through all the details with you from the fabric lining right down to the jacket pocket which are all made to suit your style and needs. Your personal specialist will work with you from start to finish to ensure you receive not only a suit made to perfection but also your very own dream suit that you designed. Our bespoke made to measure suits are tailor-made to fit and flatter individual bodies, with all details chosen by the customer, with the help of a specialist. The aim is to ensure that anyone can come into the shop, and leave feeling confident and comfortable in their formalware.
Our LGBTQ+ Made to Measure Suit Process
The first step in the process is to do some research so you know what you’re looking for. Once you do, we recommend booking an appointment. Our Made To Measure Suits start at €849 for a two piece suit cut in our signature style.
Consultation at our Cork Store (Clonakilty) or Dublin Studio
Book an appointment with us and pop into our Cork store or Dublin to speak to one of our specialists who will explain the whole process and gain an understanding of your needs for your dream attire.
STEP 1
THE CONSULTATION
During your consultation, you’ll peruse our range of fabrics and decide on the cut of the suit you’d like.
STEP 2
THE MEASURING
In the same consultation, we’ll decide on everything from the gorge of the suit to the cuff on the pants and everything inbetween.
STEP 3
PRODUCTION
Your suit will then go into production, this takes anywhere from 2-6 weeks for the first iteration of your suit.
STEP 4
FINAL FITTING
When your suit is made, you’ll come back in for your next fitting, this is usually the final fitting but we keep going until the suit is perfect, it can take 2-3 sometimes. It’s at this stage where we fine tune the suit to get it exactly fitting how you want it to.
The Tailored Fit and Fabric Selection
Our in-store tailors will take your exact measurements to ensure the perfect size, style, and fit for you. It is not just about making it the best suit; it is also about the suit being suited to your individual shape. We will go through our stunning 7,000 fabric selection which you can browse through, showcasing our variety of colours, patterns, and materials from the finest quality Italian fabrics. Once all measurements are confirmed and you have chosen something you really love, then we will take it from there!
The Creation
Our master tailors will create your made to measure suit using only the finest and exceptional Italian fabrics. The manufacturing process can take between 2-6 weeks to complete. For our express service, it takes 2 weeks.
Final Fitting and Collection of your Custom Suit
Once your suit is ready, we will contact you and arrange a final fitting in our Cork or Dublin studio. 90% of the time our suits are ready to be taken away on the day but sometimes there may be a minor tailoring to complete the process. We aim to exceed your expectations. with our attention to detail You will have the finest fitting and looking suit at home for many years to come!
